Drake Center, Inc.Drake Center Inc. is the region’s premier physical and medical rehabilitation facility. It’s a 46-acre, 314-bed facility is located on West Galbraith Rd. in Cincinnati. Drake Center has been serving the Tristate for more than 150 years. In July 2006, Drake Center became the 7th hospital in the health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Drake Center has the capability to care for patients with a wide range of conditions, from complex illness and injury to those requiring minimal outpatient therapy. The hospital offers patients with six main services: medically complex, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient care, wellness and assisted living. Some of their specialized rehabilitation services include: cardiac, musculoskeletal and neurological.

To provide the most extensive care, Drake Center uses an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Each patient is assigned an interdisciplinary treatment team with highly specialized training and experience. The team, which can include physicians, nurses, nutritionists, therapists, clergy and family members, ensures that each patient reaches the highest possible levels of functioning and independence. The aim is to achieve patient success in an appropriate and cost-effective manner.

Drake Center, Inc. is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF). For decades, Drake Center has had the backing of the community, repeatedly raising funds through tax levies supported by citizens of Cincinnati.

Drake Center provides a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals who need rehabilitation attention after their acute care hospital stay is over. Drake Center is an essential and invaluable member of the Tristate’s health care system.
