The Health Alliance is a nonprofit organization, formed in 1994 by hospitals and physicians who shared a common mission - to improve the health of the people of Greater Cincinnati through an integrated health care delivery system. The system is designed to serve the community with cost-effective pricing and the highest quality of health services.
Quality of life is an important concern to the Health Alliance. Our benefit program is the most comprehensive in the Cincinnati area and is designed to meet the individual needs of our diverse associate population. These benefits assist our associates in achieving a balance in their lives, whether theyre working, enjoying hobbies or interests, or caring for family members.
The Health Alliance offers a variety of choices in areas including health and income protection, family needs, lifestyles and retirement. The full cost of most of these benefits is paid by the Health Alliance; you and the Health Alliance will share in the cost of others. Once a year, you will have the opportunity to review your benefit selections and make changes based on your individual needs. Benefits that you select each year include:

Any associate contributions required for specific benefits you have chosen will be withheld from your pay each paycheck. Some contributions (such as those for medical) are before tax; others (such as those for life insurance) are after-tax. The tax treatment for selected benefits will be described in the Cost of Coverage and Contributions section under each specific benefit.
