The annual WebAwards recognize individual and team achievements of Web professionals who create and maintain outstanding corporate Web sites and demonstrate accomplishments in design, navigation and innovation. In winning the awards, the Health Alliance joins the ranks of such companies as 3M, Sony, FedEx and Lockheed Martin.
"We are very excited about receiving the awards," says Betty Schechter, webmaster for the Health Alliance. "Besides recognizing the outstanding features of our Web sites, these awards help to confirm that the Health Alliance is committed to providing the community with useful health and wellness information."
The Health Alliance Web site (www.health-alliance.com) includes health and wellness tips, information about each Health Alliance hospital, schedules of classes and events, news items, and a complete list of primary care and specialty physicians within the Health Alliance.
The Web Marketing Association (WMA) was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate Web development on the World Wide Web.
The Health Alliance is an integrated health care delivery system that includes The Christ Hospital, The University Hospital, The St. Luke Hospitals, The Jewish Hospital, The Fort Hamilton Hospital and the physicians of Alliance Primary Care.
