- are equipped with full field digital technology, allowing images to be viewed in seconds so the technologist can check for proper positioning, reducing the possibility of coming back for repeat images - have dressing rooms that provide absolute privacy - and are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Mammography Quality Standards Acts (MQSA). The American Cancer Society recommends that women have a mammogram every year starting at age 40. Screening mammograms are usually a covered benefit with most insurance carriers.
