The St. Luke Hospitals Recognize Community Heroes

Erlanger - The St. Luke Hospitals are hosting the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Awards banquet tonight at Receptions Banquet Hall (1379 Donaldson Rd.), to recognize local pre-hospital care providers for their outstanding service to the community. The awards ceremony will begin at 8:15 p.m.
Major General Donald C. Storm, who is on the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs, will be the keynote speaker. General Storm was appointed as Adjutant General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by Governor Ernie Fletcher. He has commanded and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard in staff officer positions at the company, battalion, brigade and state headquarters level. He has held several senior-level leadership positions and has won numerous major awards.
Pre-hospital care award winners include Northern Kentucky paramedics and EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) who have been nominated by their peers for going above and beyond the call of duty. The awards include: Outstanding Volunteer Contribution, Outstanding Efforts and Service, Outstanding Leadership and Dedication, Lifetime Achievement Award and Outstanding Contribution to Northern Kentucky.
