Health Alliance Hospitals Honored For Outstanding Safety Records

Cincinnati--The Christ Hospital, The Fort Hamilton Hospital, The Jewish Hospital and The University Hospital have been recognized by the Ohio Hospital Association for their outstanding efforts to keep their employees safe. Each year the Ohio Hospital Association honors those facilities with superior employee safety records. This year, 31 hospitals are being recognized.
Participating hospitals were divided into groups based on number of employees. The hospital with the lowest injury rate in each group received an award. Nine hospitals were recognized for having the lowest injury rate in their groups. Additionally, hospitals ranking in the top 20 percent in their category were recognized.
The Christ Hospital and The Fort Hamilton Hospital were recognized as placing in the top twenty percent in their categories. The Jewish Hospital was ranked as having the lowest injury rate in the 1001-1500 category and The University Hospital was ranked as having the lowest injury rate in the 2501-4000 category.
The Health Alliance is an integrated health care delivery system that includes The Christ Hospital, The University Hospital, The St. Luke Hospitals, The Jewish Hospital, The Fort Hamilton Hospital and the physicians of Alliance Primary Care.
