Reba Dysart Named Executive Director of Drake Center Foundation

Cincinnati, OH-Reba George Dysart has been named Executive Director of The Drake Foundation. She will also oversee volunteers, the auxiliary, and chaplaincy at Drake Center.

Dysart comes to Drake after serving, since 2006, as Executive Director of the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to women?s breast health and child development through the game of chess. Through collaboration, strategic innovation, volunteer mobilization, and community engagement, she brought over two million dollars in direct fundraising support to the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund.

Dysart is joining Drake at a very busy time as the organization prepares for four large upcoming events, including the Auxiliary's April 15 Fashion Show, an April 22 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, a May 13 Principled Leadership event featuring former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and a June 15 art exhibit opening.  

"Drake Center is an amazing organization that fills an important niche in our local health care continuum. It is an honor to lead the philanthropic efforts that support Drake. I look forward to working with others to take the Drake Foundation to the next level," said Dysart of her recent appointment.

Prior to the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund, Dysart also served as the communications and development director at W.E.B. DuBois Academy and executive director at Northeast Community Challenge Coalition. In addition to her distinguished professional accomplishments, she has an impressive record of community service, including:

  • Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, C-Change Class IV and Co-Lead,
  • CINCYPASSPORT inclusion program
  • Junior League of Cincinnati
  • Freedom Project, a collaboration of Give Back Cincinnati and Freedom YP
  • Board Member, Cincinnati Speech Reading Intervention Center 
  • Advisory Board Member, UGIVE.ORG

In addition, she has received numerous honors and awards, including the Cincinnati Business Courier's Forty Under 40 Class of 2008-2009; WE Celebrate, best marketing to women campaign; Who's Who in Executive Women; and the Over the Rhine Chamber of Commerce Star Award. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from the University of Cincinnati.

Dysart lives in Deerfield Township with her husband Douglas.
