THE FLORENCE FREEDOM PARTNER WITH ST. LUKE HOSPITALS, RED'S DOC
Florence, KY --The Florence Freedom are pleased to announce today that The St. Luke Hospitals have been named The Official Health Care Providers of the Florence Freedom.
"We are excited that the Florence Freedom selected St. Luke to be their health care partner," said Nancy Kremer, senior vice president of The St. Luke Hospitals. "Clint Brown's vision for the team and business acumen have been impressive, and we are looking forward to working with him and Dr. Kremchek."
Throughout the course of the season, The St. Luke Hospitals will provide the Freedom with an athletic trainer during all home and away games, as well as a nurse/paramedic on-hand to handle any emergencies for players, staff and fans. In addition, they will operate the First Aid Station in the ballpark.
"Our hospitals and growing Sports Health and Wellness Center will provide the highest quality of professional health care and sports enhancement services for the athletes and fans of the Florence Freedom," added Kathy Cook, vice president of administrative services at St. Luke.
"Drawing fans and partnering with the highest caliber corporate partners are both critical to our success," said Clint Brown, President of the Florence Freedom. "We are delighted that The St. Luke Hospitals share our enthusiasm for the future of minor league baseball in Northern Kentucky. It's also an honor to have a nationally prominent surgeon like Dr.Kremchek associated with our team."
Dr. Timothy E. Kremchek, who has been the Medical Director for the Cincinnati Reds for the past nine years, will work closely with St. Luke and serve as the Florence Freedom Team Doctor.
"It's a privilege to work hand in hand with The St. Luke Hospitals and their new sports medicine program," Dr. Kremchek said. "We hope to bring professionalism and true major league sports medicine care to the Freedom baseball team and make it the best program in the Frontier League."
