CINCINNATI - In recognition of National Disability Employment Month, Drake Center is holding an art celebration featuring the work of local artists with disabilities and Drake Center residents Oct. 3, from 6-9 p.m. in the West Pavilion lobby at Drake, 151 W. Galbraith Road, in Hartwell.

Drake is partnering with Art Beyond Boundaries who will be providing paintings and sculptures created by artists with a range of disabilities. The community is invited to come to Drake and enjoy music and refreshments while viewing the art. The art will be available for purchase.

Members of the media please meet in the Drake Center West Pavilion.

Art Beyond Boundaries reaches out to artists and art lovers to promote the creative power in people with disabilities. Their mission is to raise the level of understanding between the community and people with disabilities. "We don't focus on disability, we focus on ability," said Jymi Bolden of Art Beyond Boundaries.
