Fort Hamilton Hospital Center for Wound Healing adds new physician

Date: 6-14-2010The Fort Hamilton Hospital Center for Wound Healing is pleased to announce the addition of William Dickhoner, M.D., to their team of specially trained wound healing professionals.
Dr. Dickhoner is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he also served his residency and attained a fellowship in vascular surgery. He has broad experience and success in the clinical practice of surgery and in administrative hospital leadership and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Dickhoner will begin treating patients at the Center for Wound Healing on Tuesday, June 15.
The Fort Hamilton Hospital Center for Wound Healing excels in the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds using specialized treatments that include grafting with bio-engineered tissues and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The Center has a 94.7 percent cure rate within 0 - 12 weeks and has been the recipient of numerous awards recognizing the outstanding service from staff and high number of patients who have been healed.
