CINCINNATI - On April 15, 2010, the Drake Auxiliary will present its 22nd annual fashion show with an all-new high energy, high fashion, rock-the- runway show featuring some of Cincinnati's trendiest boutiques.
Drake Center intern, Alex Morton-Green from Morgan State University in Baltimore is the idea person behind "Fashion for All Ages" drawing from experience she gained while working in fashion design during college. Alex has been on the production side of high energy shows in addition to modeling for up and coming fashion designers. She took on the Drake project as a way to combine her love for fashion with her desire to give back to the community. Her goal is to showcase the sophisticated side of Cincinnati fashion in a way that will appeal to young and old alike.
Not only will the show feature fashions for all ages from some of the city's unique boutiques, but guest models like University of Cincinnati football linebacker Andre Revels will take to the runway in support of Drake.
Registration and coffee hour begin at 10 a.m. at Drake Center with a luncheon at noon followed by a live auction and fashion show. High energy news anchor, Bob Herzog, Local 12, WKRC-TV, will emcee the event. Cost is $30 per person with all proceeds benefiting patient care at Drake.
Participating boutiques and shops include Arte Nouvelle, Gypsy Moon Import, Snap Boutique, Soho Boutique, Sara Benjamin's, Skeffington's Formal Wear, GOE Athletic Apparel, Atomic Number Ten and Camille le Vie.
