Joseph Giglia, M.D., Named Medical Director of Vascular Services at The University Hospital

Cincinnati - The University Hospital has appointed Joseph Giglia, M.D., as medical director of vascular services. Dr. Giglia came to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in July 1998 as an assistant professor of surgery in the division of vascular surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive vascular techniques such as angioplasty and stenting, as well as standard open vascular surgery. He has special interests in thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and complex aortic procedures.
Dr. Giglia received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Giglia completed his vascular surgery fellowship at The Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Giglia is a resident of Clifton.
