West Chester Medical Center names Director of Finance

West Chester, Ohio - West Chester Medical Center has named Mike Jeffers Director of Finance. In this role, he will be responsible for budgeting and accounting for the hospital, as well as internal controls for revenue and expenditures.

Jeffers was previously controller for Ambulatory Medical Care, Inc., where he oversaw billing and collection of revenues, financial reporting and capital needs projects. Prior to that, Jeffers was an audit manager for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where he coordinated audit services, reviewed and tested internal control procedures and evaluated financial statements for the firm.

Jeffers, a resident of Mason, Ohio, is a Certified Public Accountant and holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and marketing/finance from Georgetown College, Georgetown, Ky.

West Chester Medical Center, part of the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, is a new 160-bed hospital being built in West Chester, Ohio, and is expected to open in early 2009.
