West Chester Medical Center names Director of Physician Development

West Chester, Ohio-West Chester Medical Center has named Paula Hawk Director of Physician Development. In this role, she will be responsible for recruitment of medical staff, identifying physician partnership opportunities, development of the medical staff office, and physician experience management. Hawk has more than 20 years experience in health care, beginning her career as a registered nurse at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She moved to the Franciscan Health system in 1987 where she held several positions including staff nurse, coordinator of nursing quality improvement, case manager and director of medical staff services for 10 years. Hawk holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wright State University and is a resident of Montgomery, Ohio.West Chester Medical Center, part of the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, is a new 160-bed hospital being built in West Chester, Ohio and expected to open in early 2009. It will provide the latest technology delivered in a healing environment.
