Health Alliance Selects West Chester Medical Center as Name of New Hospital

West Chester, OH - The Health Alliance has selected West Chester Medical Center as the name of its new hospital underway in West Chester.

"We're pleased to announce that West Chester Medical Center will be the name of our new community hospital in West Chester," says Ken Hanover, president and CEO of the Health Alliance. "It was important that the name reflects the excitement we feel about becoming part of the West Chester community."

This summer, the Health Alliance will break ground on the West Chester Medical Center site, just off the I-75 exit of Tylersville Road in West Chester. The 160-bed hospital will open in 2008, offering a wide array of surgical, outpatient and imaging services as well as a full-service emergency department. A future expansion to a 300-bed hospital is planned for a later date.

"We are creating a state-of-the-art facility to support West Chester Township's Vision 2025 plan of establishing a nationally recognized health care facility in the community.
