1 teaspoon margarine
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
pinch of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
4 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled, sliced
1 tablespoon bacon bits

In medium skillet, over medium heat, melt margarine. Add onion; sauté
until tender. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and celery seed. (Mixture will be very
crumbly.) Whisk in water and vinegar. Cook until mixture boils and thickens. Gently stir
in potatoes and bacon bits. Cook until hot.
