Kenneth Hanover,

President, Chief Executive Officer
Ken Hanover is president and chief executive officer of the Health Alliance, the largest multi-hospital system serving southwest Ohio and the Cincinnati metropolitan area. During his six-year tenure, the Alliance’s financial performance, quality performance and labor productivity have improved significantly. Additionally, the Health Alliance’s supplier diversity initiative, medical device reprocessing initiative, and revenue management-cycle program have been recognized at the state, regional and national levels for their exemplary performance.
Prior to his position with the Health Alliance, Mr. Hanover held senior leadership positions with Main Line Health in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon, and the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Hanover currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, a member of the Health Advisory Board of the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Skylight Health Systems, Inc. in
San Diego, California. He currently serves as chairman of the Ohio Hospital Association’s Committee on Advocacy and Policy and also is former chairman of the Greater Cincinnati Health and Hospitals’ Council.
Mr. Hanover completed his undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and received his master’s degree in public administration from the Johnson School of Management at
Cornell University.
