Organs Transplant Service for the Greater Cincinnati area

The Health Alliance Transplant Centers in Cincinnati, Ohio provide a comprehensive adult, solid-organ transplant program which incoudes liver, kidney, pancreas and heart transplantation at The University Hospital.

The Jewish Hospital also offers bone marrow transplantation. The United Network for Organ Sharing recognizes all programs as members in good standing.

History of the Health Alliance Transplant Services
The first solid organ transplant procedure in Cincinnati was a kidney transplant performed at The University Hospital in 1967. Besides having experience, we are at the forefront of transplantation technology. We routinely perform laparoscopic procedures to decrease patient recovery time and hospital stay. We also continuously conduct research on medication and dosages to keep you as comfortable as possible pre- and post- transplant.
