Volunteers
are needed in nearly every hospital department. Whether it is answering
the phones, delivering flowers or escorting a patient, your effort helps
us meet our mission of providing compassionate and professional healthcare
to the Tristate.
Because of major changes
in healthcare delivery, the need for volunteers is greater than ever.
Being a volunteer at one of our hospitals makes you a crucial player on
the hospital team.

Volunteers
are recruited throughout the year. Any adult or teenager (14 or older)
wishing to apply or to obtain information should call the volunteer office
at any of the Health Alliance hospitals.
After receiving your
application, you will be interviewed to determine your preferences, abilities
and any physical limitations. Then you will be matched with the hospital's
vacant volunteer positions. Applicants who are accepted are required to
participate in an orientation program. The program includes films and
presentations by members of the hospital staff.
