The Fort Hamilton Hospital and the Health Alliance have partnered with the Great Miami Valley YMCA to offer health and wellness education and services to the surrounding community. The hospital’s Center for Health and Wellness, housed within the East County Family YMCA in Fairfield Township, will provide services and programs that will compliment the mission of the YMCA to “build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.”
To improve the health and well being of the family and the community through collaboration with the YMCA. We will provide the best in health care services, injury and disease prevention, and wellness education with an emphasis on the mind, body and spirit.

Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine
The Center for Health and Wellness offers comprehensive outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine services located in the East County YMCA. Our focus is to restore and improve our patients’ function and quality of life. Our experience and licensed physical therapists will work under the direction of your physician to provide you with the best in health care services. Therapists will be onsite to provide consults, evaluations and implementation of your individualized treatment plan. We offer flexible scheduling and free childcare during your treatment.

Health & Wellness Classes
The Center’s Health and Wellness classes include childbirth education, parenting classes, babysitting classes, teen classes, and nutrition education. Other available services will include health screenings, stress management, and Tai Chi classes.
The Center for Health and Wellness will offer therapeutic massage from a licensed massage therapist. Therapeutic massage provides the release of muscle tension, increased circulation, improved sleep and other health benefits. Appointments will be scheduled for Mondays between 3 – 6 p.m. and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and noon. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. The cost is $30 per half hour or $60 per hour.
